For the sake of the 10 million pigs slaughtered each year in the UK, Animal Justice Project and Speciesism WTF are partnering over the next few months to deliver a set of impactful events that will combine creative art, investigative work, and consumer education to create a big impact across several cities.
Despite conducting 20 undercover investigations that have exposed numerous industry horrors inside farms and abattoirs, we are continually shocked and dismayed by the ongoing misery, suffering, and heartache found on each new farm we visit. This is a reality that needs to be brought to the public's attention in creative and intelligent ways to provoke thought and action. We will also be handing out educational literature and have industry tools to show the public why they must choose vegan. In addition, we will have an ad van driving around the city on each event day showing some of our investigation content.
Speciesism WTF specialises in art installations that put humans in the place of animals trapped in the industry. In the process, they challenge the public to consider their ingrained speciesism. Because of this, they will be putting volunteers directly into a farrowing crate in a series of upcoming events. We want the public to change. They must. And we know these events will help persuade them to do so.
This art installation will aid in our outreach because it will really get people thinking. In addition, we will have an ad van driving around the city on each event day showing some of our investigation content. We are delighted to announce this partnership because we feel that combining our efforts can maximise our impact for the animals. Together, we are stronger.
We hope you are as excited about this partnership as we are. These events will be visually impressive and will get the interest of the public as well as the press. It's going to be spectacular. We hope to see you on the streets!
As always,
for the animals!
