Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to every single incredible activist who showed up for our demonstration on Saturday 5 April — you were absolutely unstoppable! Together, we made waves that rippled far beyond the streets of Brompton. 

Because of your help, our action was an incredible success and our investigation findings have reached even more people. With regional news covering the event, we've taken another important step in exposing the shocking findings of our investigation to the public and speaking up for the animals who are abused and exploited every day in the dairy industry.

Locals Inspired to Action

We reached every single door in Brompton. Every street, every corner, every letterbox got a leaflet exposing the reality of dairy. And it paid off.

Locals didn’t just read, they reacted. Some stood up and joined us. That’s how change begins: one flyer, one conversation, one person moved to act. That’s one more voice who can speak up and reach the next person.

We had a powerful turnout of passionate activists, which is amazing in itself. But what moved us even more was the three new voices - three local people sickened by what’s happening on their doorstep so they joined the protest at the farm.

Our March

Together, we made a bold stand for the 2,400 cows trapped on Lowfields Farm. This wasn’t just a protest, it was a call for justice. And it was heard.

The protest certainly amplified the media storm that surrounded our investigation release. Our action was covered across North Yorkshire — from BBC North Yorkshire (both online and on TV), to Greatest Hits Radio on the morning of the event, and other local media across the region. Our message has now reached living rooms, airwaves, and headlines, all bringing attention to the harsh truths of the dairy industry. 

At the gates of the farm, we held a minute’s silence to honour the cows who lost their lives because of this farm. It was a powerful and heartbreaking reminder of why we do this, and a promise to keep fighting for every single individual still trapped in this system.

The Arlarming Reality

Thanks to this leafleting and protest action, our investigation into the reality of dairy has reached thousands more. With every leaflet delivered and every voice sharing our message, we're shining a light on the abuse this industry would rather keep hidden.
