Recently, we launched our 20th undercover investigation which has been featured in The Mirror, the Independent, the Mail Online and the Express. The exposé has revealed more damning proof that ‘higher welfare’ labels like RSPCA Assured simply silence the horrors which are taking place across farms, during transportation and in slaughterhouses every day.

What’s more shocking is that slaughterhouses are receiving our tax money! In the past 12 months, the government has announced two packages totalling to £7 million to increase productivity, and for the creation of new and mobile abattoirs. Our money should not be funding such a violent industry. We must take action.

We are calling on the UK government to end the public funding of slaughterhouses. This is the first step in creating a kinder future for everyone. The mere existence of these facilities is violating social progress but together, we can do something about it.

The petition is gaining momentum and we hope that the government will start to listen to the concerns of thousands of people.
