Secret War Campaign Reaches Millions in National Media!
Our Secret War campaign against warfare research was featured in the Sunday Express. We revealed how the Ministry of Defence are misguiding people who are requesting information via the Freedom of Information Act. The government is claiming that only 57 marmoset monkeys were used in warfare research last year, when in fact long-tailed macaques were also used, as well as pigs and rabbits. Speak out for animals at Porton Down TODAY by contacting the Minister of Defence or order our printed postcards by emailing email@example.com.
Animal Justice Project was featured in the Scottish Sunday Times exposing the killing of red squirrels in Scotland by researchers from the universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow at The Moredun Institute. If you would like to get involved with Animal Justice Project Scotland email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Social Media Highs! We were sad to need to oppose the notorious horse race, the Grand National, again this year. Reports from Animal Aid showed that five horses died during this years event. Our message that ‘YOU BET, THEY DIE!’ was shared by over 7,000 compassionate people on Facebook. Animal Justice Project followers showed their compassion once again this World Rat Day (4th April 2015). Over 3,000 shared their love for rats on social media.
